Full Time Financial Counselor position available within our Patient Financial Services Department. Must have 2 or more years Emergency Collections experience in a hospital setting to be considered. Excellent customer service skills and attitude are required. The Counselor must balance compassion with financial recovery for our patients. Requires Monday - Friday 5pm-1am availability.

Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna is an 88-bed, not for profit facility operated by Adventist Health System (AHS) as a joint venture with Emory Healthcare. The hospital was founded in the early 1970's when a group of physicians recognized a need for a hospital in Smyrna. On June 3, 1974 the hospital (then known as Smyrna Hospital) admitted its first patient. Adventist Health System purchased the hospital in 1976 and it became the first health-care institution in the Atlanta area to be affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
