Payroll/Accounting Assistant
Responsibilities will include performing accounting and payroll duties such as posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, maintaining prepaid accounts, posting cash, preparing daily bank deposits, processing bi-weekly payroll and all functions related to payroll. Will also prepare and file state adn federal taxes, prepare and file 941's and state reports.
Requirements include: minimum of four (4) years in a payroll and accounting role, proficiency in MS Office, excellent verbal and written communication and commitment to customer service. Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred but will accept comparable work experience in lieu of degree. Experience with AS-400 is also preferred.
Candidates must be comfortable communicating with a diverse group of employees. Position requires face to face interaction with employees, including answering questions regarding payroll and problem solving payroll issues. Must also be comfortable communicating with leadership staff and hospital CFO.
Position requires full time, Monday - Friday 8-5 availability.
Compensation will be between $32,000 and $39,000 depending on experience.
