Full Time RN Clinical Coordinator
Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna is currently seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our facility in a Clinical Coordinator role. Position requires active GA RN license, 5 years experience in an acute care setting and 3 years in a supervisory role. Must have Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Recent Medical, Surgical or Telemetry experience is also required.
Position will include 75% non-clinical responsibilities and 25% clinical responsibilities. Strong clinical skills required. Schedule requirements include M-F 7am-3:30pm on a regular basis. Candidates must also have flexibility in order to work 1 weekend shift per month and 1 evening shift per month. Candidates must have strong computer skills and experience with MS Office and electronic medical records is required. Clinical Coordinator will become CPOE superuser for the unit.
Responsibilities will include: Clinical Coordination for Medical/Surgical/Telemetry/Dialysis units, financial management, employee communication, process improvement, regulatory compliance on the units, interviews and staff selection, employee competency, payroll, monitoring of supplies and equipment upkeep, preceptor role for new employees, weekly staff meetings, daily patient rounding and patient interaction, employee education and accountability, staffing and other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director.
Ideal candidates will posess superior interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of production and efficiency. Must be flexible and comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities. Position requires candidates who are comfortable in a leadership role. Candidates must be organized, creative, independent and must have a team oriented attitude.
Compensation will be competitive within the Atlanta market and will based upon experience.
